At Optimized Senior Living, we believe that companionship is one of the greatest gifts we can offer—and receive. Our Adopt a Grandparent program invites community members to build real, lasting connections with our residents through shared time, conversation, and friendship.
Originally launched during the holiday season, the response was so heartwarming it caught the attention of local news.
Due to its incredible impact, we’re now making this a year-round initiative.
This program is about presence, not presents—no gifts are required. Just bring your smile, your stories, and your kindness.
Whether it’s a single visit or an ongoing friendship, you’ll be making a difference in someone’s life—and they just might do the same for you.
Every day, we provide home cooked and healthy meals and snacks. However, if your parent has a favorite recipe (or 20), then we’d be delighted to cook it.
Communicating directly and openly with our residents’ families is critical so that you know what’s going on at all times, and as a resident’s care needs change, it’s never a surprise.
This is a home which has an operating door! By that I mean, residents can come and go as they please – brunch with girlfriends, cinema with others, or shopping during the sales.
If you have lots of friends and family, invite them over. They’re welcome. And what about the grandchildren’s pictures? Place them on the fridge!
